Unable to identify a phantom iPad tablet thief in their current investigations, police have now issued a photo of the suspect to the public in a hope that someone may recognise the man.

(ADW) Unable to identify a phantom iPad tablet thief in their current investigations, police have now issued a photo of the suspect to the public in a hope that someone may recognise the man.

The incident took place in Bertrange at the Belle Etoile shopping centre on Route d’Arlon on 5 October 2011. A man was filmed by security cameras stealing two Apple iPad2 tablet computers between 3:15pm and 3:30pm.

The police have now issued a mug-shot photo of the man to the public and should anyone have information regarding the man’s identity or his whereabouts, they should call the number: 113

The reason the police sometimes delay releasing photographs so late after incidents, is because they must be 100% sure the photograph is indeed of the perpetrator of the crime. Mistakes have been made in the past.
