Japanese ICT firm to open Luxembourg HQ
Japanese technology and ICT firm Skeed Co Ltd is to open its European head quarters in Luxembourg to accelerate its global expansion, the Economy Ministry confirmed on Thursday.
Founded in 2005, Skeed offers cutting edge technology to increase the speed of data delivery and works in the areas of “cloud” and “big data”.
It said it will hire around 20 people by the end of 2014 to man its new offices at 10 Avenue de la Liberté, in Luxembourg city.
Skeed CEO Niriaki Hatta said: “Given our development strategy in the medium to long-term, it is important for us that the Luxembourg government sees the ICT sector as a priority sector for the development of its economy."
Skeed said it expects the expansion to help it grow sales to more than 70 million euros during the next five years, by providing technology to global markets.
