(CS) Prime Minister Jean-Claude Juncker is set to deliver his state of the nation address at 2.30pm on Tuesday, with the ongoing financial crisis a likely focus of his speech.

Ahead of Finance Minister Luc Frieden's announcement of savings measures at the end of April, it had been thought that Prime Minister Juncker would be the one to deliver the news on how Luxembourg was to tighten its belt.

Still, the Premier is expected to speak on the country's financial situation and to address the 500 million euros in savings needed to limit the state deficit.

With no public announcement of any kind expected, it remains to be seen what aspects of Luxembourg business, society and politics Juncker will speak on.

Juncker's last state of the nation address was given on April 6, 2011, where he chose youth and education as one of his focus issues.
