(ADW) Learning Luxembourgish is not easy but it can be fun as an American who decided to sing a song about it, clearly demonstrates.

Mike McQuaide has lived in Luxembourg since February 2013. In a song posted on YouTube, that's already achieved over 5500 hits and counting, he recounts his experience with Luxembourgish tackling the quirkiness of the language as well as throwing in few clichés.

The song is a revised version of R.E.M’s “It’s The End Of The World As We Know It”, and reference is made to Luxembourger Fränz Schneider, a friend Mike, often mentioned in his Mike McQuaide blog.

There's no mention of "gromperekichelcher" though,  no doubt really hard to fit into a song in any language!
