This weekend hundreds of people headed to the Däichhal in Ettelbruck for the latest edition of the Lët'z Go Local market.

The event took place in the Däichhal, an industrial building near the town centre, which was designed by Besch da Costa Architects.

It was the first time the market has taken place in the north of the country, and some 60 stands were on location, allowing visitors to find new clothing and designs, local food and drink specialties, natural beauty products and much more. There was also a small food village on site outdoors with several food trucks.

"Since it's in the north for the first time, we didn't know how people would react," said Nathalie Siebenaler, who was selling her accessories and cards at her By Siebenaler stand. "There has been a different clientele...The place is also great, with lots of space, light and an industrial touch."

The location was also interesting for François Altwies of Neurofeedback Luxembourg, whose brain mapping service isn't exactly the run-of-the-mill service you'd find at a local fair. "Here it's easy to filter," he said. "If people are not interested, they can just walk by, but if they stay a bit longer, I explain what I do."

Liliana Horta Coelho, founder of Lili's Bubble Dreams, also said she was "positively surprised," adding: "People have been very warm, and I'm happy we came."
