Motorists on Tuesday morning had to face major delays as a collision between a lorry and a car transporter caused tailbacks of up to seven kilometres.

(CS) Motorists on Tuesday morning had to face major delays as a collision between a lorry and a car transporter caused tailbacks of up to seven kilometres.

The accident occurred during rush hour on the A6 in direction of Arlon. A seven kilometre traffic jam was reported by the ACL at 9am, as the lorries were blocking traffic and the right lane was completely closed.

On the other side of the motorway, in direction of Luxembourg, the accident also caused delays, with tailbacks of five kilometres, as cars slowed down to take a closer look at the wreckage.

Details of the accident have not yet emerged.
