Luc Tapella has been re-appointed as the director of the Luxembourg Regulatory Institute (ILR) for a new seven-year term, beginning on May 2.

Before becoming director in 2015, Tapella held several roles at the ILR, which regulates several industries including the postal network and energy and telecommunications sectors. Prior to joining ILR, Tapella previously held positions in the private sector, notably with Luxembourg space giant SES.
