Advent acrobatics kick off on Glacis

The Luxembourg Advent Circus opened its doors for the first time this festive season on Thursday, featuring artists from Europe, Russia and South America.

(CS) The Luxembourg Advent Circus opened its doors for the first time this festive season on Thursday, featuring artists from Europe, Russia and South America.

The programme includes acrobats, jugglers, clowns, equestrian vaulting, a dog “revue” and the “Globe of Death” motorcycle show.

Artists from the Monte Carlo circus festival are among the line-up that awaits visitors five days a week until December 15 on the Glacis in Limpertsberg.

Performances are held on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 4pm and 8pm, as well as Fridays at 6pm and Sundays at 2.30pm and 6pm. The circus is closed on Mondays and Wednesdays.

Ticket prices for children vary between 10 euros and 35 euros and adults pay between 15 euros and 40 euros.
