Bettel meets Portuguese PM ahead of Lisbon Web Summit speech
Luxembourg Prime Minister Xavier Bettel has a working lunch on Tuesday with his Portuguese counterpart António Costa to discuss relations between the two countries as well as issues beyond their borders.
Bettel will then head to the Web Summit in Lisbon, where he is scheduled to make a speech in front of the hundreds of international attendees.
The event, which began on Monday and continues until Thursday, is being attended by political heavyweights such as European competition commissioner Margrethe Vestagen and the United Nations secretary general António Guterres.
More than 50 representatives from Luxembourg businesses and organisations are present at the Web Summit.
