A patient suffered further injuries when the ambulance transporting them to hospital was in collision with a car.

(JB) A patient suffered further injuries when the ambulance transporting them to hospital was in collision with a car.

The ambulance was travelling through Luxembourg City at around 11pm on Saturday night when, at the junction of avenue Emile Reuter and Boulevard Joseph II, it was hit by a car.

The force of the impact caused the ambulance to spin 180 degrees, prompting the patient on board to fall.

According to police, the patient suffered severe cuts and bruising as a result of the accident.
