Chaos on roads during National Day eve
Luxembourg's Emergency Services reported four pedestrians being run over in separate incidents around the Grand Duchy on the eve of National Day.
The first occurred at around 7.30pm in Dudelange, leaving one person injured. Then from 10.45pm to 4am, there were three more incidents, two in Luxembourg City and one in Bettembourg.
In total four people were injured in the incidents. There were also a number of road traffic accidents with a motorbike collision in Echternach at around 7pm.
At 9.30pm, there was a two-car crash on the A6 towards Luxembourg by the exit for Steinfort and a car landed on its roof after an accident at the Raemmerich roundabout at 3am.
All in all, it was a busy night on the roads for emergency services.
