Emergency services tackle 2 fires in 1 night
Two fires in the south of the country were tackled by the local fire brigade between Saturday night and Sunday morning, one cause major damage to a shed in Gaalgebierg, the other happened in Soleuvre.
It was at about 4.30am on Sunday morning when firefighters rushed to the scene of a fire on Gaalgebierg hill above Esch-sur-Alzette.

The fire was eventually extinguished, luckily before it spread to nearby gardens.

It was earlier in the evening, at about 9pm on Saturday that firefighters were called out to Soleuvre, not far from the Esch fire that was to occur later.
