Luxairport said the route was not on sale beyond March because the summer schedule "is not finished yet". Once the schedule is finalised, the ticket sale for the route will resume.

UK airline Flybe will continue to operate flights between Manchester and Luxembourg beyond March 2018, Luxairport has confirmed.

Luxairport said the route was not on sale beyond March because the summer schedule "is not finished yet". Once the schedule is finalised, the ticket sale for the route will resume.

On Monday, the Luxemburger Wort published an article stating that Flybe would cease its service between Manchester and Luxembourg after an airline representative told the Wort the flights would stop after March. Customers trying to book a flight on that route were also given similar information.

According to Luxairport, the route will not be stopped, and the Flybe representative who spoke with the Wort and airline customers provided inaccurate information.

In a statement, Flybe said flights on the route were "currently available for travel through to 24th March 2018" and that details of the airline's 2018 summer schedule for the route would be "confirmed shortly".
