"Give us a sign she is alive!"
The Luxembourg prosecutor's office has issued an urgent appeal to the people or person holding missing baby Bianka Bisdorff.
Speaking on Wednesday, Deputy Prosecutor Doris Woltz made a short but insistent appeal to the population for “the woman, the man or couple who were entrusted with the child or currently caring for it, to contact the police and give a sign she is alive.”
Throughout the day, Luxembourg Police, with support from the German police force, searched the waterways around Linger without success.
The month-old baby was reported missing on July 3. Searches have so far focused on a wooded area between Linger and Pétange.
Police have not commented on the circumstances reporting only that the child's mother was taken into custody.
