Go skiing in Differdange!
(ADW) The weekend marked the opening of the Winter Park in Differdange by town’s Mayor Claude Meisch, a seasonal attraction for all those that love skiing and tobogganing.
The ski-circuit is 230 metres long and is designed to survive temperatures above zero degrees. Inflatable toboggan rings are also on offer for kids and adults to slide around in the snow.
For those that don’t have ski equipment, the can be rented on-site at favourable prices, while the toboggan rings cost 1 euro.
Also on offer is Differdange Christmas market close the piste with a number of attractions, including regular concerts, exhibitions and competitions under a large tent. Added to that the market offers numerous activities for children and adults alike, as well as a crèche.
Differdange Christmas market and Winter Park are open up until 23 December. From Monday to Thursday opening times are 3pm to 7pm, on Friday’s 3pm to 8pm, and at the weekends from 10am to 7pm.
