Luxembourg crossed the threshold of 60,000 people tested for the virus since the start of the pandemic, 3,930 of whom tested positive, the health ministry said on Saturday.

No new deaths were recorded on Saturday, with the number of total fatalities at 104. Four more people were admitted to intensive care, bringing the total number of people fighting for their lives to 15.

There were seven more people who tested positive for the virus.

Following the partial lifting of the lockdown, the government has shortened the working hours of the Covid-19 helpline (8002-8080) with advisors now available from Monday to Friday between 8 am and 4 pm.

Over the past weeks, the helpline received over 66,000 calls, with daily peaks ranging from 250 to 1,700 calls.
