Junglinster roundabout blocked for final bypass stage
The construction of a new ring-road around Junglinster is entering into its final stage. Within the project is the new roundabout next to the giant RTL aerial masts at the top of the hill.
Motorists are warned that from August 24 right up to September 18, the N11 between Graulinster and the centre of Junglinster will be closed while the final layers of the road surface are laid at the roundabout.
During this period traffic will be redirected from Graulinster to Beidweiler and Eschweiler to get to Junglinster and Gonderange, or visa versa. Where the big RTL masts are located, a P&R car park with space for 250 cars will be created.
Once everything is complete and the roundabout opens again on September 18, Junglinster will have its complete bypass relieving the town of heavy traffic.
