Language school moves to containers
A popular language school in Luxembourg City moved to its new, temporary premises in Kirchberg on Thursday.
Materials from the Institut National de Langues (INL) in Limpertsberg were transported to prefabricated buildings in rue Léon Hengen, where classes will be hosted for the next two years.
INL students will start the next term in the temporary containers in Kirchberg while the old building on Bd de la Foire is renovated.
This building, which formerly housed the European School Luxembourg, will be modernised to be more energy efficient as well as being extended.
The work, which begins in September, was initially expected to take three years but has since been revised down to two. It is estimated to cost around 9.5 million euros.
From July 27, the school's new address will be 15, rue Léon Hengen, L1745. Staff can, however, still be reached on the same phone number as before.
