Man's body found in crashed car near Luxembourg-German border
On Tuesday afternoon, a man's lifeless body was found in a car, which had apparently crashed down a slope near the Our river on the Luxembourg border with Germany.
The car, which was carrying French licence plates, was located between Rodershausen in Germany, and Obereisenbach in Luxembourg, north of Vianden.
First police investigations point towards an accident. It appears the car veered off the road in a right-hand bend and then crashed down the 10-metre slope by the roadside, landing on its roof.
The car was not found until around an hour after the accident, police indicated. The driver was dead when emergency services reached the scene.
The cause of the accident remains unknown.
