Monthly flower market to brighten the capital
Luxembourg City's shopping opportunities continue to bloom over the coming months as it hosts two flower markets in a bid to bring life to the capital on Sundays.
The market, planned for Place des Martyrs, close to the central railway station, will hold its first edition on September 8, followed by a second market on October 13.
Shoppers will be able to buy plants, bulbs and fresh flowers at the dedicated market from 9am until 5pm.
The initiative is aimed at reviving the tradition of a flower market in the capital as well as improving the range of activities hosted in the city on Sundays, particularly close to the station.
It also complements the flea markets held every first Sunday of the month in Place Guillaume II and the Glacismaart market every third Sunday of the month.
