As wort.lu/en reported back at the end of August, a phantom graffiti “artist” defaced the back of the A6 electronic roadsigns writing in big letters “Singe”or monkey in English. Each letter filled the five big panels that hang over the A6 carriageway.

Now the monkey has gone as the traffic control service CITA have removed the graffiti by replacing the panels with new covers, each costing €500. That means a total cost to the state of €2,500.

So, no more monkey business above Luxembourg's motorways.

MyWort captured the event on video. Check it out at the following link.
