Luxembourg's financial watchdog has warned the public about the activities of two companies claiming to be authorised to sell services in or from the Grand Duchy.

The CSSF said an entity named Swiss American Capital Group, which claims to be established at Rue Jean Monnet in Kirchberg, is "unknown to it".

It said the firm had not been granted authorisation to provide investment or other financial services.

The CSSF also warned about the activities of a company called SC Global Fund/SunCorp, which claims to be established at 51 Boulevard Grande Duchesse Charlotte.

The regulator said the entity had not been granted authorisation to provide banking or financial services.
