Luxembourg Prime Minister Xavier Bettel will be in Japan for the end of the week for bilateral discussions with the Japanese PM, Shinzo Abe.

Luxembourg Prime Minister Xavier Bettel will be in Japan for the end of the week for bilateral discussions with the Japanese PM, Shinzo Abe.

Bettel will attend in his capacity as Communications and Media Minister and will be accompanied by Finance Minister Pierre Gramegna during the trip from July 16 to 18.

The Luxembourg delegation will also meet with the Japanese minister for Technology, IT and Communication, Shunichi Yamaguchi, as well as members of the Japan-Luxembourg Parliamentary Friendship League, the president of which is Yoshimasa Hayashi, Japanese Minister for Agriculture.

At the same time, they will meet with various Japanese organisations active in ICT and digital finance.

During the visit, the Luxembourg Prime Minister will participate in a reception at the residence of the Luxembourg Ambassador to Japan in Tokyo.
