Search for baby Bianka continues
(CS/jag) The search for a missing 1-month-old baby continues in Linger on Wednesday, while the mother of the child has been charged in the case.
Baby Bianka was reported missing on July 3, less than a month after her birth on June 6.
Earlier this month police carried out a search mission near Linger and Pétange, without, however, finding the newborn.
A pond between the two towns appears to be the focus of the latest search. Preparatory works have been carried out with screens set up to shield the area from the public eye.
The mother of the baby last week was taken into custody by police, where she remains. Charges have been filed against her.
The prosecutor's office revealed no further details on the case.
