Sports plane lands on roof during emergency landing
(MSS) A small sports plane was forced to make an emergency landing on Monday afternoon, tipping over and landing on its roof.
The plane took off from Findel just after 3pm, but only a short time later the plane's two pilots, both aged 53, noticed technical problems.
Heading back towards the airport, the pilot was suddenly forced to make an emergency landing on a field in Filsdorf. The exact nature of the technical problems was not revealed.
Although the the plane landed on its roof during the emergency landing, the pilots weren't injured.
The plane was a Cessna C140 built in 1947.
