Street market and shops open on Sunday
Shops in Luxembourg city centre and the train station area will be open this Sunday.
There will also be a street market and some buses and car parks will be free of charge.
All bus line numbers one to 31 will be free to use on October 1 and the City Shopping Bus will run between the Glacis car park and bus stops Beaumont, Forum Royal, Hällepull, Cathédrale and Kasinogaass at no cost every eight minutes between 1.30pm and 6.30pm.
The Schuman car park, P+R Bouillon and the Stade car park will have regular bus links to the city centre and gare area.
- Parking Schuman – buses 1/16, 2, 4, 7, 8, 18, 19 and 20 go from the nearby Fondation Pescatore bus stop.
- P+R Bouillon – Bus number one will run every 10 minutes from 12.49pm and the return bus will leave from Hamilius Quai 2 between 1.05pm and 6.35pm.
- Parking Stade – Bus numbers 22 and 28 will run every 15 minutes from 1.27pm and the return journey starts from Monterey Quai 2 between 1.48pm and 6.37pm and from the gare bus station between 1.42pm and 6.31pm.
