Teenager hit by car severely injured
(MSS) A teenager was seriously injured when a car hit him as he was crossing the road near the Raemerich roundabout in Esch-sur-Alzette on Monday morning.
The 15-year old boy suffered severe injuries to his head and was rushed to the hospital.
Police are looking for the motorist driving behind the car which hit the boy, and urge witnesses with information about the accident to call them at +352 4997 5500.
Also this morning in Walferdange, another pedestrian was injured when she was hit by a car and fell onto the railway tracks next to where she was crossing the road.
There were train delays following the incident and the woman was taken to hospital.
