The Luxembourg economy expanded by 3.7% in the second quarter compared to the same period last year, and by 2.2% from the first quarter of 2019, the Statec statistics office said.
Full-year Gross Domestic Product growth for 2018 was revised up to 3.1%, instead of the previously estimated 2.6%.
The revision stems mainly from statistical reprocessing of some exceptional operations of multinational groups operating from the Grand Duchy, the authors of the report said.
The GDP is a commonly used measure of the size of the economy expressed by the market value of all goods and services produced in a country.
