Two injured in morning collision
A motorist was airlifted to hospital following a two-car collision close to the Belgian border on Thursday morning.
According to emergency services, the two cars collided head-on at around 7am on a road between Saeul and Hobscheid.
The impact caused one car to roll onto its roof at the side of the road.
One motorist had to be released from his vehicle by emergency workers. The injured person was flown to hospital by a Luxembourg Air Rescue helicopter.
The second driver suffered minor injuries and was taken to hospital by ambulance.
Both vehicles were severely damaged in the collision.
