Woman calls police on drunk boyfriend
(CS) A woman in Ettelbrück on Tuesday evening reported her drunk boyfriend to police, with the man spending the evening in a custody cell as a result.
The woman had called police around 8.35pm on Tuesday, saying she was unable to restrain her partner. The man refused to sit down in her car and when she had finally managed to wrestle him inside, he got back out.
Rather than leaving him at the scene, the woman turned to police for help. When they arrived, the man was in the process of urinating against his girlfriend's car.
When police approached him, the man pushed them away.
Barely able to stand upright, and judged by police to be a potential danger to himself and to others, the man was handcuffed and taken to the station, where he was placed in a cell to sober up.
