The British Chamber of Commerce to Luxembourg will tackle the hot subject of the impact the easing of banking secrecy will have on Luxembourg's financial sector at their next lunch.

The British Chamber of Commerce to Luxembourg will tackle the hot subject of the impact the easing of banking secrecy will have on Luxembourg's financial sector at their next lunch.

Guest speaker André Hoffmann, a Partner, Elvinger, Hoss & Prussen, will explore possible outcomes and solutions to challenges arising from the reform, due to take place from 2015.

André Hoffmann, graduated with a "maître en droit" from the University of Strasbourg (France). After initial experience at the Luxembourg Bar in 1984, he joined one of the major Luxembourg banks where he headed the Legal and Tax department before joining Elvinger, Hoss & Prussen as a partner in February 2006.

His experience of more than 20 years in the banking industry allowed him to gain extensive expertise in banking, finance, and corporate law as well as in regulatory issues. He has intensively practised mergers and acquisitions and restructurings on a local and cross-border basis.
