(CS/mt) Ahead of the summer break Luxembourg's parties agreed upon a set of rules to regulate campaigning; however, it would appear that one minister has already broken the agreement.

As part of the accord politicians had set a limited budget and time frame to buy and run adverts online, including social networks such as Facebook. Paid online campaigning was not set to begin until mid-September.

However, an advert by a member of the LSAP has already been spotted on Facebook, two weeks ahead of time.

It remains to be seen whether candidates of other parties will now also take action and move forward their online campaigns.

There have so far been no official reactions by the LSAP or the other parties.
