Missing German teenager found safe and well
Following a large-scale manhunt on Tuesday, for a missing teenage girl just over the border in Germany, it has now been reported that she has returned home safe and well.
The search for the 18-year-old was triggered in Föhren near Trier after she went missing following a walk in the woods and didn't return home on Monday.
However at around midnight on Tuesday the girl was found by German police about 130km away in Koblenz and was able to return safely to her family.
No more details are known at this stage.
