Music fête draws crowds in Luxembourg City

Free music festival the Fête de la Musique came to a close on Sunday with a number of concerts played across eight stages in the Capital.

One of the main attractions was the Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra, which played works by Puccini, Verdi and Bellini in Place Guillaume II during the evening.

Sunday's variable weather appeared to stay relatively dry for the majority of the evening shows. The same day, events were held in Stadtbredium, Echternach, Esch-sur-Alzette and Kayl.
