(CS) With half of all communes having declared their results in the 2015 Luxembourg referendum, it looked as though voters had opted for a clear 'no' on all three questions.

At 4.40pm, 55 communes out of 105 had declared full results, with another two – Esch/Alzette and Luxembourg City – having posted partial results.

Over 77,000 out of 245,000 ballot papers counted, the result was a clear 'no' on all three questions.

Only around 22 percent supported foreigner voting rights, while just over 19 percent voted 'yes' on lowering the voting age to 16. Just under 30 percent voted for limiting ministerial mandates to 10 years.

The results declared by 4.40pm were spread across the country, with the results spread relatively evenly.

Not a single commune so far has posted a positive vote on any of the three questions.
