New festival sounds out crowds in capital
Capital Sounds, the 3-day festival organised by Food for Your Senses, proved it could draw in the crowds when it unleashed its first edition over the weekend.
Despite the rain and competition from the Blues and Jazz Rallye, the festival attracted a steady following as it brought together music, arts and workshops in the capital.
Kicking off at De Gudde Wëllen on Friday with DJ outfit Napoleon Gold, Saturday saw festivities shift to the Rotondes where the likes of Cristobal and the Sea and Dillendub played.
The festival culminated on Sunday with a large array of bands including Monophona, Natas Loves You and German indie-folk act Mighty Oaks.
