Luxembourg's only English-language radio station has changed frequency, with the aim of offering better coverage in most parts of the Grand Duchy.

Luxembourg's only English-language radio station has changed frequency, with the aim of offering better coverage in most parts of the Grand Duchy.

From Monday, June 15, listeners to ARA, ARA CityRadio and GRAFFITI could tune in on the new frequency 102.9 MHz.

The new frequency was adopted to enable the radio station to reach even more listeners in the Nordstad region and Echternach, in the east.

It also coincides with the relocation of the stations to a studio in the new Rotondes complex in Bonnevoie.

The building, which dates back to 1875, underwent an ambitious overhaul and officially opened last weekend.

The new address for the studio will be 4, place des Rotondes, L-2448 Luxembourg.

Radio Ara is an independent community radio station offering a diverse range of programmes in different languages from 2pm onwards, including youth programme GRAFFITI.

ARACityRadio is an English speaking service broadcasting on weekdays from 6am to 2pm. Radio DJ Sam Steen also regularly contributes to wort.lu/en. Click here to read some of his band interviews in Sam's Scene.
