(This story was corrected. The second paragraph stated that 3,828 tests had been performed on Monday, but this number refers to the total of people who have tested positive for the virus since the crisis began).

The number of deaths since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic was unchanged at 96 on Monday, while the number of new cases went up by only four, a sign the Covid-19 crisis is slowing down in Luxembourg.

The country has stepped up the pace of testing, and the total number of tests carried out in the Grand Duchy now stands at 48,339. A total number of 3,828 people have tested positive for the virus.

The number of patients hospitalised fell to 113 from 115, with 21 people remaining in intensive care.
