On a highway to Hellange, again
Good news for motorists as part of the A13 motorway opens once again, earlier than expected.
Since Friday morning the motorway in the direction of Hellange to Pétange is once again accessible despite original plans to only reopen on Saturday.
This is not just good news for motorist but also for residents living near slip roads in Hellange, Frisange and Aspelt in the Pétange direction.
However the motorway from Hellange in the direction of Mondorf and Schengen, still remains closed at the Aspelt and Altwies exits. The resurfacing work in this direction has a planned completion date of August 12. A diversion is currently in place.
Overall, the resurfacing work on the A13 will take about three weeks, with the cost amounting to 3.6 million euros. The repair work to the section between Hellange and Frisinge is being carried out only eight years after opening.
