Pedestrian in critical condition

A man is fighting for his life after being knocked down by a delivery van in Fennange, near Bettembourg.

The collision occurred at around 6.50pm on Thursday on the route d'Esch.

According to police, the man was thrown several metres as a result of the force of the impact.

He was not conscious following the incident and was taken to hospital in Luxembourg.
