(CS) An investigation into an incident in early February, which saw a Luxair plane skid off the runway, has revealed that the plane was being driven too fast.

The plane was taxiing from its parking position to the runway when the incident happened. No-one was injured, but an investigation was launched for airport safety.

A press release by Luxembourg civil aviation authorities said that the plane was not being driven at a speed adapted to the weather conditions.

Over the coming months, ground procedures will be further analysed to ensure that airport safety procedures currently in place are adequate.
