Police warn of iTunes fraud

(CS) Luxembourg police have warned of online fraud in connection to Apple service iTunes, with tricksters trying to gain access to the personal data of users.

Police warn not to respond to messages asking users to verify their account data or iTunes ID, or give away personal data in reply to emails warning of a suspension of the account.

Several cases have been reported where online fraudsters used such tricks to gain access to account and personal data.
