Royalty adds glamour to 150th anniversary celebrations
Luxembourg's Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Maria-Teresa attended a rousing concert by British choir the Wells Cathedral School Choralia at Luxembourg's Notre-Dame Cathedral.
Friday's stunning performance formed part of a memorial service to mark the 150th anniversary of the Union Grand-Duc Adolphe (UGDA).
The UGDA is an umbrella organisation representing musical groups in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, including choral societies, brass bands, music schools and instrumental groups, among others. Altogether, it represents 340 societies and counts more than 17,000 individual members.
Also present at the event was Luxembourg politician and former European Commission President Jacques Santer.
