Sales are here!
The sales have officially started in Luxembourg, offering residents and visitors a chance to make huge savings on clothing and electrical goods.
Traders in the Grand Duchy began the sales on Monday morning, with discounts already stretching to half price in some stores.
Because of the recent mild winter weather, it is expected that stores will need to shift their winter stock, so shoppers can expect to find a wealth of bargains.
President of the Commercial Union of the City of Luxembourg Corinne Cahen said: "Unlike last year, this year has not been cold enough. And, because of the weather, the season was not very good. Clothing, footwear, personal goods in general: there is plenty of choice."
Sales continue until January 21 and to give shoppers more opportunities to bag a bargain, stores will open on Sunday January 8 in the afternoon. For more information on Sunday openings, visit www.cityshopping.lu
