Saturday will be a scorcher!
(JB) Temperatures are expected to top 30 degrees celsius in Luxembourg on Saturday, despite the fact that summer has officially ended.
The Indian summer may be short-lived however, as weather forecasters are predicting temperatures to slide from Sunday onwards.
While slaves to the sun are expected to flock to the country's outdoor water holes such as Remerschen's lake on Saturday, on Sunday they will be better armed with an umbrella than sunglasses and suncream.
Heavy rain has been predicted for the first day of the braderie with temperatures at a tolerable 20 degrees celsius, plummeting to 18 on Monday.
According to some weather forecasters, the temperature will fall gradually from Monday onwards, with the mercury dropping to 15 degrees celsius on Wednesday and Thursday.
