(CS) The Moselle town Schengen celebrated the end of the wine harvest in Luxembourg with the traditional “Hunnefeier” on Sunday.

The “Syndicat d'Initiative Schengen” hosted the event, which started at 9am and featured not only food and drink, with lots of “Fierderwäissen” wine on offer, but also live music, an arts and crafts market, a flea market and children's entertainment, such as pony riding and a carousel.

The Luxembourg Pipe Band was part of the line-up, only one of more than half a dozen bands performing on the day.

While the weather was not ideal, organisers showed themselves happy with this year's event.
