Schifflange hosts Luxembourg's 1st International Street Food Festival

(ADW) The popularity of street food in Luxembourg has grown immensely over the past few years and indeed the Rotondes in the City has hosted a Street Food Festival twice already.

Now it is the turn of the south of the country as Shifflange boasts it will be hosting the country's first “International Street Food Festival”.

The food trucks will be rolling into the the town not for one day but three for an event that runs from June 10 to 12.

With a huge variety of food on offer from a host of trucks and vans, the festival will occupy a large area, just off the A13 motorway, with access via Rue Denis Netgen.

So far just over 50 businesses are listed as taking part, but there could be more signing up before the event, making it the biggest food truck gathering of its kind in the Grand Duchy.

The “International Street Food Festival” organised by AAFC Folklorama ASBL, with free entrance, starts on Friday June 10 opening at 7pm, on Saturday opens at 11am continuing until 3am, and on Sunday from 11am until 8pm.
