On Saturday evening, police had to settle a dispute among asylum seekers at the "op der Schmelz" asylum centre in Dudelange.

When the patrol arrived in the parking lot of the old casino in the vicinity, the officials encountered around 20 upset individuals. In a fight shortly prior, two people had been injured, and they had bloodstains on their hands and clothes.

It turned out that two refugees had been expelled from the asylum centre. The two did not agree with the decision, and there was a scuffle between the asylum seekers.

It took 16 police officers from six units to finally put the dispute to an end. An investigation has been launched.
