Strategic Airlines enters into administration
Luxembourg Charter airline Strategic Airlines has suspended operations after entering into administration.
The Luxembourg Commercial Court confirmed the firm's bankrupt status, adding that creditors must submit claims by October 22.
The former Australian carrier settled in Luxembourg in 2010. It operated flights from mainly UK airports including Manchester, Gatwick and Birmingham on behalf of tour operators, airlines and brokers.
The airline operated three Airbus A320-200 aircraft before entering into administration. Its former parent company, Air Australia, went into bankruptcy in early 2012.
The company was unreachable for comment.
