Take a swing at cancer on June 27
Seasoned and novice golfers are invited to take a swing at the annual Kick Cancer Into Touch one-day golf tournament on June 27.
The tournament hosted at Kikuoka Golf Club in Canach follows the single stableford format with tees starting at 7.30am for 18 holes and 8am for nine holes.
Men and women are urged to compete and vie for the many different prizes on offer, which include longest and shortest drives, as well as the golfer who gets nearest the hole.
The family-friendly day will also include the obligatory barbecue and bar, bouncy castle and face-painting.
All funds raised will be donated to Luxembourg hospice Haus Omega.
Registrations close at 12 noon on June 24.
Participation for Kikuoka members costs 25 euro (18 holes), 15 euros (9 holes) and for non-members 75 euros (18 holes) and 40 euros (9 holes).
The competition will be followed by a prizegiving reception in the Kikuoka clubhouse from 6.30pm.
